Dr. Beth Davis

Dr. Beth Davis

Practice Owner, DVM

Dr. Beth Davis truly has a heart for animals. Dr. Davis attended Taylor University where she earned a B.A. Biology in 1982. From there, she attended  Purdue University, graduating with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1986.

She loves practicing medicine and performing surgeries. As a girl, she dreamt of helping animals when they were ill or injured. Now, Dr. Davis fulfills her dream and gets to express her love of animals every time she walks into the building.

Dr. Davis’s pet family includes Princess Buttercup, a Lab who loves food, Peanut, a mixed-breed rescue dog, and also Bob, and Lux, her two cats. Fun fact – She named Peanut so that when she called the dogs, she could say “here peanut butter!”

When not at the hospital, Dr. Davis enjoys visiting with family, reading, traveling to new places, and horseback riding.

Jodi

Veterinary Technician

Jodi has been helping pets as one of our skilled and caring vet techs since 1985. She’s a wonderful example of someone that continues to pursue the best practices and new knowledge, no matter how long she’s been on the job. Jodi was drawn to the veterinary field because she wanted to help animals, who truly are a part of the family. Her favorite part of her position is being able to assist in surgeries.

During her downtime, Jodi enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and taking her two dogs for rides and walks. She has a mixed rescue dog named Millie that is full of personality and a Great Dane that thinks she’s human.

Alina

Registered Veterinary Technician

Hello, I’m Alina! I have wanted to be in veterinary medicine since I was young. I have always loved animals from frogs and toads all the way up to horses and whale sharks. Animals have always had a special place in my heart and to help take care of them and give back the love they give us is something I am proud to do.

I graduated from International Business College in November of 2022 and became an RVT in early 2023, I have 2 cats of my own, Mishi and Luna. I enjoy my weekends with different events and expos and time spent outdoors. I also enjoy the cozy indoors with reading fantasy series and watching all types of shows.

Adrienne

Since I was a little girl, I have always had a passion for helping animals! I’ve always been told if I could afford to, I would own every animal humanly possible. I’m currently in school for my RVT license! I have 2 fur babies and a pet Rat. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, animals, and traveling. Since being employed by Southway Animal Hospital, I have learned so much and enjoy being part of the team!

Gracie

Receptionist

Since I was a young child I developed a strong love for animals. It wasn’t until I found my soul dogs, that I knew I wanted to be in the Veterinary world. After making sure they received their medications and taking care of them day to day; I knew I wanted to help other pets too. I am so grateful for all the connections I’ve made with our clients and patients here at Southway. I plan on continuing my growth in this field and becoming a Veterinary Technician in my future.

During my downtime, I’m outside playing with my fur babies, painting, or spending time with my little family.

Joni

Receptionist

Since 1987, Joni Long has been a devoted breeder, owner, and exhibitor of Labrador Retrievers, competing in both conformation and obedience. Over the years, she has owned Labradors in all three recognized colors—black, yellow, and chocolate—with a special love for chocolates. Her passion for the breed has connected her with fellow Labrador enthusiasts across the United States and abroad, and she deeply values the friendships she’s formed along the way.

Most recently, Joni completed an AKC championship on a young chocolate male and is now enjoying the sport of dock diving with him. Life at home is full of personality and energy, shared with two cats, her Labradors, and one beloved senior Beagle.
